The OB Medical Assistant works as part of the clinic provider team and assists the physicians and family nurse practitioners in the provision of primary health care. The OB Medical Assistant provides limited direct patient services and performs specifically designated independent procedures.



  • Experience in working in OB clinical setting•Graduate from an approved Medical Assistant Program which identifies both clinical and classroom instruction sufficient to meet state requirements.
  • Have the ability to interface effectively with members of culturally and professionally diverse staff and patients
  • Computer literate.
  • Valid BLS card.
  • Good verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
